In the Beginning
|
Brief History It has no real known history. It was purchased by the PO with substantial rear damage. The rear half from just in front of the B post back was replaced by one from a burnt-out wreck. The repair was acceptable. The car looks as though it was originally French Blue. It was resprayed Marrenello Red. The front half was in reasonable rust free condition. Upon my strip down it was found that the RH outer sill was missing a bit just as it goes under the RHF guard (fender)!!!!! Also the car, in it's previous life, had had a shunt in the RHF which had pushed the A pillar closer to the B pillar. I am able to trace the foster parents history because such history is available at the Land Transport Safety Authority (LTSA) the people responsible for car registrations. These days you have to go to one of their agents and request the full list of owners.
